Lisa de Londres {}

Person

only in Reggimento; in early version, she apparently figures as trobairitz in a tenso with Raimon d'Anjou; in final version, R appears only later and without reference to Lisa de L; acc Diez Lebel 1882:494, Barberino speaks of "poetess" Lisa di Londres, and his editor (ohne Umstande) calls her a Provencal poetess; DBT 448 1200-1250; no biog info = unidentified; known only from Ital. translation by Barbarino Del reggimento e costumi di donna: but those verses attributed to “Lisa de Londres” elicited a response by BeatrDia; “Londres” could be St Martin de Londres [CC] (arr Montpellier), mansus de Landro (Gard), Landre (Crau, Provence), Londres (L-et-G). It is probable /060/ that she was Salvatja de Londres/Salvatia de Londr’ cited by Lanfranc Cigala* e Lantelm* in "Raimon, una domna pros e valens" (BdT 283.2 = 393.2). But MSS have diff versions of her name: nasaluagia de londre on gioi (T) e nasaluaria de landron (a). Perhaps the same as “domina Lysa” mentioned in the latin Commentario to Documenti d’amore [ZrP 28:564, found Google Bks 2017-03];
